We had been bemoaning the fact that we hadn't come across much Indian music- our prayers were answered! Great place, but as so often on this trip, we were the only paying guests there.
At first we were serenaded..
...then the Mehmsahib got up to strut her stuff on the dance floor.
The next day we headed towards Agra (and the TM), we stopped for the night at Bharatpur and spent the afternoon at the bird sanctuary.
A really amazing place for seeing big birds like painted storks, black spotted eagle, black headed ibis, heron, Indian roller, Indian darter, to name but a few- there were thousands of the critters!
The twitchers among you might notice a fly-by by a black spotted eagle at the end of this clip...
The Udai Vilas Palace where we stayed, certainly made us appreciate the level of accommodation we've become accustomed to- palatial this certainly wasn't. I guess it helped to readjust our expectations for the rest of our trip- alas, no more forts!
